A Day in the Life
Working in early childhood education is more than supervising a classroom. Early Connections educators help shape development, build relationships, and create meaningful learning experiences for children.
Depending on the role and age group, your day may include:
- Creating a warm, safe, healthy, and organized classroom environment.
- Planning and leading creative activities that support developmental milestones.
- Helping children build social skills, confidence, and emotional regulation.
- Communicating with families and sharing daily updates, milestones, and classroom moments.
- Supporting children through routines, meals, rest time, outdoor play, and hands-on learning.
What We’re Looking For
We are looking for dedicated professionals who are patient, compassionate, reliable, and excited to support young children during their most important years of growth and development.
Qualifications may vary by position, but candidates may meet requirements through one of the following pathways:
- A Child Development Associate (CDA) credential with experience working with young children.
- An Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education, Human Services, or a related field.
- Relevant classroom, child care, or early learning experience depending on the position.
Additional requirements may include successfully completing required child protective clearances and having reliable transportation.
