  1. The Apprenticeship program helps workers learn while earning as they work toward a no-cost CDA credential. Check out our program description for more information!

  2. How much does the Apprenticeship cost me?

    If you qualify for the PDO funding, the classes and supplies are free. The tuition, books, portfolio, and access to electronics are all free.
    Reach out to the Apprenticeship Coordinator to see if you qualify.

  3. What if I’m not technology inclined?

    The Apprenticeship Coordinator can also help the apprentices with some technology questions, or connect you with other resources to help with any issues.

  4. What if I don’t have a laptop?

    Loaner laptops can be provided based on availability.

  5. Do I have to take the CDA courses in any order?

    No, the classes are not in a sequence.

  6. What are the benefits of pursuing this?

This Apprenticeship and Pre-Apprenticeship program is supported by the Pennsylvania Department of Labor and Industry of the U.S. Department of Labor as part of an award totaling $94,017.00 (19%) with 81% ($379,990.00) financed from non-governmental sources.
